The Colorado Mycological Society meets on
the second Monday of each month, from March
through October at 7:30 p..m.. Meetings are held in Mitchell
Hall at the Denver
Botanic Gardens,
1005 York street. There is no entry charge into
the Botanic Gardens to attend a CMS meeting. Location

- Communication — CMS meetings provide an informal opportunity
to socialize and exchange information with others interested
in mycology.
- Monthly Presentation — Each
meeting features a lecture and/or slide presentation on mycology
or a related subject. Speakers include nationally known mycologists,
outside specialists and knowledgeable members.
- Mushroom Identification — Visitors & members
are encouraged to bring the mushrooms they find to the meetings.
Knowledgeable members will be happy to help you identify the
mushrooms you have found.
- Books & References — CMS offers free use of its mycology
reference library to CMS members. A variety of new books are
offered for sale at each meeting as well. The books are usually
available to members at a discount.
All meetings of the Colorado Mycological Society are open to the
public. CMS membership is not a prerequisite for attending meetings.
